Using your Gateway Bank & Trust Bonus Visa Check Card for all your shopping needs means your points will add up fast! You’ll earn 1 point for every $3 every time you use your card and sign for your purchases. You may purchase up to a maximum of $1,000.00 worth of goods and services per day, exclusive of ATM withdrawals. Plus, you’ll earn even more when you shop at participating retailers.
What is UChoose RewardsSM?
UChoose Rewards is a rewards program where you earn points for shopping or using your Gateway Bank & Trust Bonus Visa Check Card, then redeem your points for anything of your choice from a huge online rewards catalog.
How do I earn points?
You earn 1 point for every $3 for each Signature Credit Transaction
A Signature Credit Transaction is when you have chosen “credit” and signed for the purchase. You will not earn reward points if debit is chosen and your pin is entered.
Plus, you can earn even more points when you shop at participating retailers. Choose to shop in-store at national or local retailers or online through www.uchooserewards.com. You can also click on the gwbt.com website and click on the UChoose link. When shopping in-store, select credit and sign for your purchases.
Where can I earn points?
You earn points everywhere your card is accepted.
When can I begin redeeming points?
As soon as you have earned 2,500 points or you can continue to accumulate points for bigger rewards.
Can I share points with family members?
Yes, all cards within an account automatically earn points together.
What can I redeem my points for?
It’s your choice! You can choose from millions of options, whether it’s products, travel experiences, activities, event tickets, gift cards or more! Simply visit the Redeem Points page and click on the category that suits your interests.
We keep track of all the points you earn and will help you find just what you’re looking for when you’re ready to redeem. We even have a Wish List that will help you track when you’ve earned enough to redeem a specific item.
Where can I view my point activity?
You can access the history of your point activity on the Point Details page.
What if I shopped at a participating retailer, but my points aren’t showing up?
It can take up to 30 days for transactions to appear on the Point Details page. If points from a qualified transaction do not appear after 30 days, use the Contact Us page for further assistance.
When I redeem for a product, can I ship my redemption to an address other than the one Gateway Bank & Trust has on file for me?
No, for security reasons you can only ship your redemption to the address that Gateway Bank & Trust has on file for you. If you need to update or change your address, please contact us at Gateway Bank & Trust at 706-965-5500 and ask for Electronic Banking for assistance.
Can points be redeemed at the point of purchase or can they only be redeemed online?
You can only redeem points online through www.uchooserewards.com
If I am close to having enough points to redeem, can I purchase the balance of the points they need?
No, you can’t purchase the balance of the points you need. You must earn the required points needed to redeem for an item.
What will happen to my points if my card is lost or stolen?
If your card is lost or stolen and a replacement is issued, points will automatically be transferred to the new card. Once you receive your new card, you will need to re-register on the website with your new card.
If someone manages to get access to my UChoose Rewards username and password, can they redeem my points?
Yes, they can redeem your points if the login information is compromised and used improperly, but whatever is redeemed can only be sent to the address on file.
When redeeming can I send to a work address?
No, you can only have items shipped to the address on file. For security purposes this address can only be changed by contacting your financial institution and changing the address you have on file with them.
If I have a discount card with a retailer who’s participating in the UChoose Rewards program, will I still be able to receive my discount and UChoose Rewards points?
Yes, if you have a discount card with a retailer who’s participating in the program, you will be able to receive the discount as well as the UChoose Rewards points.
How much does it cost to participate?
There’s no cost. Membership in UChoose Rewards is absolutely free for Gateway Bank & Trust cardholders, so start shopping and earning today.

Can I return my redemption item, and if yes, how do I do it?
Some redemption items can be returned and some cannot. To understand the various redemption policies and processes, please review the Terms and Conditions.
To report a Lost or Stolen card after normal business hours, please call 800-554-8969. You must also report your card the next business day to the Electronic Banking Department at Gateway Bank & Trust at (706) 965-5500.
